10+ years of experience in microfluidic screening
Luisa Blöbaum
Luisa Blöbaum has taken major credit in developing and validating present dMSCC technology during her PhD thesis, which she will complete end of this year. Starting in 2020 she has evolved the existing dMSCC setup and applied it for bioprocess robustness analysis and strain comparison. Multiple poster and presentation awards made her a well-known person in bioprocess engineering. Within BiProMicro Luisa will lead the scientific division as Managing Director.
Dr. Julian Schmitz
Julian Schmitz started to work in bioprocess microfluidics in 2018, established MSCC for cell culture applications during his PhD, which he has completed in 2022, and since then pushes microfluidic technologies towards non-academic applications. Besides teaching he coordinates scientific cooperation projects in his role as PostDoc. To promote his work, he regularly participates in international research conferences and was decorated with the Fellowship Award by ACTIP. Within BiProMicro Julian will serve as Managing Director.
